Garlic is native to central Asia, and has long been a staple in the Mediterranean region, Asia, Africa, and Europe. It was known to Ancient Egyptians, and has been used for both culinary and medicinal purposes
Garlic is safe at recommended doses. Garlic will cause bad breath, and body odor. May be safe for children, pregnant or nursing mothers.It may interact with fish oils, EPA, pycnogenol, NSAIDs, protease inhibitors, hypoglycemic, anti-hypertensive, thyroid, lipid-lowering, and anticoagulant drugs.
