L-Glutamine is the most abundant free amino acid in skeletal muscle tissue while the BCAA’s comprise over one third of the amino acids stored in muscle tissue. It is essential to keep blood levels of these aminos at the proper levels during and following training to diminish the amounts which are released from the muscle tissue. This directly correlates to the ability of the muscle tissue to recover from the exercise and/or trauma.

HMB is one of the most heavily researched anti-catabolic dietary supplements. The one conclusion which can easily be made from the research on HMB is that to experience its muscle tissue sparing effects, it must be taken prior to and immediately following any intense exercise session.

N-Acetyl Cysteine (NAC) is a direct precursor to one of the most powerful free radical scavengers which is present in every living cell in the body, Glutathione.
